For our chiropractic care services, treatment session lengths vary depending on the type of visit:

• Initial Assessment: 45 minutes

• Subsequent Visits: 15 minutes

• Reassessments: 30 minutes

A detailed history will be conducted to better understand your symptom(s). We may also ask more lifestyle related questions. Many of our daily habits contribute to aches and pains, often without us realizing it. Simple actions like cradling a phone, crossing our legs, playing on our phones in bed, driving long distances with a wallet in the back pocket or remaining in one position for too long can all take a toll on our bodies over time. Thus, taking a detailed history is crucial to determine the root cause of your pain. After the history, a physical examination will be performed. We may ask you to bend or twist and perform various movements. This will allow us to better assess how your muscles and joints are moving. After the history and physical exam have been performed, a diagnosis and plan of management will be given to you followed by your treatment.

Please bring loose fitting clothing. We also provide patient gowns as well.

This will depend on many factors, such as your diagnosis, how long you had your symptoms for, how active you are, how healthy you are, how regularly you do your prescribed exercises, etc. In general, many patients begin to feel relief between 3-5 treatments. In general, the more active and healthy you are, the faster your recovery time.

We offer a range of therapies, including both passive and active treatments. Passive therapies include ultrasound, interferential therapy, TENS, acupuncture, cupping, soft tissue therapy, and spinal manipulation. Active therapies involve personalized exercise programs using equipment like dumbbells, steps, kettlebells, and therabands.
